The Summoner Part II

So did up a charcoal pic of a Dragon, not overly detailed but black. Merged it with the original pic and got closer to what kind of style I was looking for. Experiment over for now.

Nice graphics piece merging the pics together with some duplications to balance.

Black, dark sketchy dragon pic that was then slightly dissolved into the background with original summoner in reverse out over it. Corel can be fun. :)

This was the rendered decaying bathroom before the woodcut effect. Nice to have a chance to experiment with stuff, still have a few more ideas I want to explore with the Lady in the Lake thing before I finish with it.

Did a little composition of the Battle of the Planets for the Collective Thinking Blog for July. Started colouring it in and am playing around with Corel to see what works. Will post the finished bit here eventually, but for the mo it is just being gently coloured in between other jobs.

Best Bits

Having had a good look at my blog and a good think about what I want to be doing with my art, I decided a clean start was in order. There will be blog postings, but the new year for creativity started on the 4th June 2011.
So just as a nod and a smile to the postings put up over the last few years, I've taken the best bits from 2008-2011(pre June) and put them together in a single page. It's been fun and these are the bits that I liked the best, hope you did too!
New postings will be going up of course - just watch this space! :)
